Abstract:Currently,the study of virtual synchronous generators(VSG)mainly focuses on the improvement of the control system,and lacks a quantitative cognition of the control parameters of actual VGS.In view of the above problems,the linear time-domain function model of VGS is built.Considering the correlation between the inertia and damping parameters of VGS,an identification method of the equivalent inertia and damping of VGS based on ridge estimation is proposed.The inertia and damping parameters of VSG can be identified by ridge estimation when the step changes of output power emerge.The errors of the ridge estimation method is compared with the traditional least squares method through simulation and RT-LAB hardware-in-the-loop experiments.Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method has better identification accuracy.
