| Abstract: | Clarified sodium aluminate liquor i n Sinter Process is subject to co nv en tional batchwise treatment of carbonat-ing decomposition in tankage for lon g on purpose to produce aluminum hydr oxide.Nevertheless,such a process step h as been under development with the resu lt of a continuous treatment of carbonat ing decomposition of sodium alum inate liquor.Thus,both the batchwise and cont inuous carbonating decomposition tech nologies are in coexistence during p roduc tion of a-lumina in Chinese mainland.It is pointed out that the continuous car bonating decomposition technology is a d irection in development of carbonating decomposition process with exposition in th is paper. |
