Abstract:The specific pathogen free(SPF) mice were randomly divided into phytic acid groups(stomach irritation with phytic acid) and normal group(stomach irritation with saline only).The blood of all the mice was fetched from the eyeball and then all the mice were killed by cervical dislocation after 30d of cultivation.The blood serum and homogenate of liver were prepared for the measurement of the total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC),superoxide dismutase(SOD),Valley glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),catalase(CAT) activity and malondialdehyde(MDA) content.The results showed that the enzyme activities of SOD,GSH-Px,CAT in the serum and liver of middle dose group was much higher than those of the normal control group.High-dose group showed differences between male and female.The conclusion was that phytic acid in a certain dose range can enhance the antioxidant function and delay senility.
