| Abstract: | Among the key issues that linguists have been studying is the influence of mother tongue transfer on foreign language learning which is also one of the focuses about which they dispute. Mother tongue transfer, especially its negative part, involves many aspects: from lexis to syntax, from sentence to text, from thinking mode to cultural tradition. All these will have great influence on the English writing of the Chinese students. |
