多级Lyot型液晶可调谐滤光片的研究

摘    要:为实现宽光谱的连续可调谐滤光,提出了一种利用液晶电光效应的多级可调谐滤光片的设计方法并进行了研制.在传统Lyot型滤光片中加入一个液晶盒,利用液晶的电控双折射效应实现可调谐;将多个此类型液晶可调谐滤光片按其相位差的一定整数比进行叠加.通过对这种四级可调谐滤光片的模拟分析,可实现在450~550 nm波段的调谐,光谱分辨率达10 nm.实际制作了四级液晶可调谐滤光片并进行了性能测试,测试表明,其主要性能指标达到了设计要求.研制结果可以为宽光谱多级可调谐滤光片的研究提供参考.

Abstract:In order to accomplish tunable filter with broad continuous tuning range, a design of multiple-stage tunable filters utilizing the electrooptic effect of liquid crystal was developed and the device was made.One liquid crystal cell was inserted into the traditional Lyot filter.The tuning could be achieved by using the electro-birefringence effect of liquid crystal. Four tunable  liquid crystal   filters were assembled with their integral ratio phase retardations.The simulation showed that the tunable range was 450~550 nm and the spectral resolution was 10 nm.A four-stage tunable liquid crystal filter was made and tested.The  results indicated the main performance index was in accord with the design requests.The research results can be applied as reference for the study of broad spectrum multiple-stage tunable filters.
