口蹄疫病毒样颗粒研究进展

摘    要:病毒样颗粒(VLP)具有与真实病毒粒子大小相似的结构,能引起免疫应答但不具有感染性。口蹄疫病毒是无囊膜的RNA病毒,其结构蛋白可组装成VLP,且具有良好的免疫原性。本文对口蹄疫病毒VLP的免疫机制、表达系统及应用、口蹄疫病毒VLP作为抗原在诊断和疫苗中的应用进行了综述。

Abstract:Virus-like particles (VLPs)share the similar structure and immunogenicitywith natural virus particles except absent of viral genes, but still are able to induce the antigen-antibody response, thus could beuse as a promising platform for vaccines.The foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) belongs to the Picornaviridae family and consists of non-enveloped particles that contain a positive-sense, single-stranded RNA of approximate 8.5 kb. The P1-2A precursor is processed by viral protease 3C to produce the structural proteins VP0, VP1 and VP3. These proteins could self-assemble to formempty capsid-like particles. This review will focus on the immunologic mechanism,expression system and application of FMDV VLPs as antigen in vaccine and diagnosis.
