摘    要:报道了一种应用顶空气相色谱测定纸浆纤维羧基含量的方法.用稀盐酸对纸浆进行预处理可以使其羧酸盐转化成羧酸的形式.在封闭的测试瓶内,碳酸氢钠溶液作为反应剂与测试瓶内纤维的羧酸反应生成二氧化碳.通过气相色谱的热导检测器对二氧化碳进行检测,推算出纸浆纤维的羧基含量.

Abstract:This paper reports an improved headspace gas chromatographic method for determination of carboxyl group content in wood fibers. A pretreatment of wood fibers was applied using diluted HCl to convert carboxyl groups to carboxyl acids. The sodium bicarbonate solution reacted with carboxyl acids in the pretreated fibers and released carbon dioxide in a closed testing vial. Through the determination of CO2 by a thermal conductivity detector using gas chromatography, the content of carboxyl groups in fibers can be accurately quantified. The modified process for sample pretreatment introduced in this paper increases reliability and accuracy of the determination. Compared with the traditional titration method, the present method is simple, accurate, rapid and automated.
