| Abstract: | Based on an analysis of the diagnostic tasks and the requirements of modern manufacturing equipments, the design ideas of an integrated fault diagnosis system for modern manufacturing equipments with the integration of process condition monitoring and fault diagnosis are put forward. The architecture of the software and hardware of the system is described in detail and the major modules or functional sub systems such as the diagnostic knowledge acquisition and representation, the fault data collection as well as the integrated diagnostic reasoning mechanism are presented. The system designed is proved feasible and effective in practice. |
