Abstract: | As a semi-closed bay, Liaodong Bay has certain representative hydrodynamic characteristics. A three-dimensional hydrodynamic numerical model of Liaodong Bay and its adjacent sea areas was constructed based on the FVCOM. The tidal level, flow velocity and flow direction at the time of big and small tides were compared and verified at six tidal level tide stations and four tidal tide stations. The model could accurately simulate the tidal, tidal current and other hydrodynamic fields of Liaodong Bay. It could further provide a research basis for the study of temperature and salinity, sediment, water quality, and pollutant diffusion of Liaodong Bay. |
