网络安全协议研究

文章对三种网络安全协议SSL,IPSec和MPLS进行了分析和比较。首先对SSL和IPSec进行比较。由于二者作用在OSI模型的不同层,所以它们互有优劣。为了便于比较,笔者从四个考虑方面加以分析比较:互用性、安全特性、可扩展性和Ipv6因素。接着,针对分别基于IPSec和MPLS的两种VPN体系结构,文章从服务模型、可扩展性、网络中所处的位置、服务质量等诸多因素进行比较。最后,文章对三种网络加密技术进行了总结,并对它们的应用进行了讨论。

A Research on Network Security Protocols

This paper analyzes and compares three network security protocols which are Security Socket Layer (SSL), IPSec and Multi-protocol Label Switching (MPLS).Firstly,a compared analysis of SSL and IPSec is conducted.SSL and IPSec are located at different layers of the Open Systems Interconnect(OSI)model.For this reason they have different advantages and disadvantages.To help the compare,four discriminators are come up with.They are as interoperability,layout and security features, scalability and the IPv6 factor.Next, it compares two VPNs architectures based IPSec and MPLS technologies from many factors such as service model, scalability, place in network and QoS.Finally, this paper concludes these protocols and discusses their applications.
