Research about the Merchant Landscape Architecture Style of Jiang Nan in Qing Dynasty

Though literate garden dominated the landscape architecture styles in JiangNan, Qing Dynasty, merchant garden also played an important role in some extent. The merchant garden sti mulates the whole development of the landscape architecture in Qing Dynasty. There were a great many of well-known merchants like salt businessmen and Hui businessmen in some developed economic places such as Yangzhou, Huizhou and so on .They either spent a lot to built gardens as the symbol of wealth , had their own unique ideas, or built classic gardens which combined nature and cultural together. Besides building their own gardens, some merchants also donated themselves to the construct of public gardens which played an indispensability part of the landscape architecture in Qing Dynasty.
