| Abstract: | The problems on the transformation of resources-exhausted cities are greatly concerned by the society. There must be four basic factors: resources, capital, sci-technology, and talents to solve the problems efficiently. This paper analyzes the situation of talents and the related problems of the mining cities, emphasizes the importance of the human resources development and talents cultivation, discusses the characteristics and countermeasures to develop teaching and scientific research cooperation between university and city, and points out the role of the university in the course of transfromation and the sustainable development of mining cities. |
