Abstract:Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung (CCAML) is uncommon, and usually presents in children with respiratory distress. We describe a girl presenting with pneumonia at age 10 years. She had been previously healthy and active, and with no previous hospitalizations or X-rays. A chest CT scan showed right lower lobe cystic lesions suggestive of CCAML.
