摘    要:为了克服目前悉尼自适应交通控制系统(Sydney coordinated traffic system,SCATS)获取的动态交通数据仅用于交通信号控制的局限性,从信息共享的角度,将SCATS中感应线圈获取的动态交通数据应用于交通事件自动检测。在详细分析了SCATS中感应线圈获取的交通数据特性的基础上,设计了一种新的交通事件自动检测算法,并采用实测数据进行了验证和对比分析。结果表明,所设计的新算法在检测率、误警率方面均优于经典的对比算法,可为改善SCATS覆盖道路在交通信号控制、交通信息引导和交通指挥等方面的协调性提供技术支持。

Abstract:In order to break through the limitations of current dynamic traffic data from the Sydney coordinated adaptive traffic system(SCATS) applied only for dynamic signal control,from the perspective of information sharing,the dynamic traffic data collected from the inductive loop on SCATS were applied in the research of automated incident detection algorithm.The characteristics of the data collected from the inductive loop on SCATS were analyzed,and a new algorithm of automated incident detection(AID) based on the data was designed.The validity of the proposed AID algorithm was tested with measured data,and the new algorithm had a better performance on detection rate,false alarming rate and mean time to detection,it would be effective in improving the coordination in traffic signal control,traffic information guide and traffic command of roads covered by SCATS.
