| Abstract: | The working of FICMES (Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society), from 1962 to 2002, has been reviewed and summarized in this paper. The works in FICMES are divided into three stages, i.e. initial stage, resumptive stage, and growing stage. The detailed review of the composition of council of FICMES, academic meeting, international exchange, the works of editing and publishing, exhibiting activities etc. have been made in these stages. |
