Abstract:The technology of emission spectrum analysis of rotating disc electrode has important application in the detection of oil composition.The research shows that the stability of arc light source has an important influence on the results of spectrum analysis.Traditional arc generators usually use spark discharger as the core device of arc ignition circuit,the stability and reliability of arc ignition in oil component analysis are difficult to guarantee.This paper presented a digital automatic arc ignition circuit for arc source and established the topology model of the arc ignition circuit.Dual thyristor was used instead of spark discharger and the output voltage was adjusted automatically by using Buck circuit based on FPGA and current feedback.The influence of circuit parameters and control strategy on output waveform was analyzed.The electric breakdown simulation was carried out for the arc structure with the gap length of 2~6 mm and the oil sample thickness of 0.2 mm.The simulation results show that the output voltage of the arc ignition circuit can be adjusted with the gap change and the circuit can achieve reliable arc striking under different gap length and whether there is oil sample coverage on electrode.
