中国城市化的第四波

建国以来,我国城市化经历了不同的发展阶段。尤其是1978年开始的改革开放对城市化进程、动因、模式都产生了深远影响。本文通过对我国城市化历程的回顾,将我国建国以来城市化划分为四个主要阶段(波),并对各阶段城市化的特征进行总结。在此基础上,提出我国城市化正进入快速发展的第四波,并对第四波城市化所面临的问题和挑战进行了分析。

THE FOURTH WAVE OF URBANIZATION IN CHINA

Since 1949, the urbanization in China has experienced different phases. Especially, the re- form and opening-up starting from 1978 has had a profound influence on the progress, initiating factors and modes of urbanization. Based on the review of China’s urbanization process, this paper identifies four main phases (waves) of urbanization in China and summarizes the important characteristics of each phase of urbanization. On the basis of that, the paper argues that China is now in the fourth wave of urban- ization and then analyzes the problems and challenges which the fourth wave faces.
