A Study on Relationship between the Collimation of Illuminating Beam and Scale of Fourier Power Spectrum

In this paper, the relationship between the collimation of illuminating light beam and the scale of Fourier spectrum is theoretically analysed in detail. The paper states that when the input object is placed near the front focus plane of the Fourier transform lens, the collimation of the illuminating beam will not affect the scale of Fourier spectrum.The analytical and experimental results are very useful for the rational use of Fourier spectrum analysis system.
