| Abstract: | By analyzing the Mandarin Palace, the article tries to explore the origin of space organization in Chinese tradition vernacular house and various requirements in contemporary house design. Particularly, we found out the contradiction between tradition and modenization on contemporary low density house design in China, and furthermore try to discuss the tendency in this respect for the future. |
