摘    要:提出一种基于子带编码的可实现视频ROI功能的改进精细可伸缩视频编码方法。在增强层编码中,对DCT残差系数重排形成小波子带,通过对系数位平面进行最大提升法实现ROI功能,利用SPIHT编码方法消除数据冗余。实验表明改进增强层编码方法实现ROI具有较好的效果,比原来的FGS增强层编码方法具有更高的编码效率。

Abstract:An improved code method based on subband coding is proposed/or FGS with the function of ROI in this paper. In encoding/or the enhancement layer,residue coefficients are first reordered to form subbands of wavelet. Bitplanes of the coefficients are then implemented through the max-shift method to achieve the function of ROI. Lastly, the SPIHT coding method is used to eliminate the data redundancies. Experiment results show that the proposed method can achieve a good function of ROI and that it has higher coding efficiency than that of the original FGS enhancement layer.
