NOLM全光再生器的优化设置与噪声分析*

摘    要:从整形原理出发分析了NOLM再生器在EDFA和脉冲初始相对时延等方面的优化设置, 定义了NOLM再生器功率抖动参数, 得出经EDFA放大后的接收信号功率较最佳工作点的偏差需小于10 %, 而脉冲总走离量应小于信号脉冲间距的一半.通过分析再生信号串扰, 得出对于不同的接收信号, 必须调节脉冲走离量以抑制噪声.分析还表明, 只要设置时钟脉冲位于开关窗口中心, 便可保证再生信号无频移.

Abstract:The working conditions of NOLM regenerator are analyzed according to its regenerating theory. By defining the power fluctuation parameter of NOLM regenerator, it is required that the power deviation of received signal amplified by EDFA towards the optimal point should be less than 10%, and the total walkoff between signal and probe pulses should be smaller than half of the signal pulse interval. In order to restrain the crosstalk induced by NOLM, the walkoff between pulses needs to be adjusted according to the received signal. Provided that the clock pulse is located at the center of the switch window, the generated signal will be obtained without spectral shift.
