Abstract: | The present paper describes the development of a reversed phase liquid chromatographic method for advanced intermediate of rabeprazole sodium (RBS-1) in the presence of its impurities. Successful separation of RBS-1 from the synthetic impurities achieved on a Inertsil ODS3V C18, 150 mm × 4.6 mm column. The developed LC method was validated with respect to linearity, accuracy, precision, specificity and ruggedness. To the best of our knowledge, a validated stability indicating LC method which separates all the impurities disclosed in this investigation was not published elsewhere. |
