| Abstract: | Determinations of changes in thyroid hormone levels 86 times in 36 patients withchronic pulmonary heart disease have Been given and a controlled study in comparisonwith healthy persons was performed.The thyroid hormone level of T_3 in the attack-period of the disease decreased distinctly.The clinical manifestations and complica-tions of patients in the low T_3 group were severer than those in the normal T_3 group.The serum thyroid hormone level was positively related to the partial pressure of bloodoxygen and negatively to that of blood CO_2. |
