Different Protection Methods of Chinese Ancient Books between North and South: Reasons,Significance and Enlightenment

This paper analyzed manifestations,reasons,significance and enlightenment of different protection methods of Chinese ancient books between north and south. These differences come from differences between north and south of natural geographical factors and human geographical factors,reflecting in external environment selection and internal environment improvement of storage rooms,selection of containers,the prevention and conservation of the ancient books damage and so on. This paper provides strongly targeted and mutual reference between north and south protection methods,which enriches the protection methods system of Chinese ancient books.
