Technical progress on synthesis of polycarbonate

The technical progress on synthesis of polycarbonate inland and abroad were reviewed. Some synthetic processes which were applied in production were introduced such as interfacial phosgene method, solution phosgene method, fused ester exchange method, and fused method without phosgene. The recent research trends of synthesizing polycarbonate by phenol oxido carbonylation and bisphenol A oxidocarbonylation were discussed. The proposals for developing polycarbonate production inland were put forward.
