摘    要:求解线性方程组是油藏数值模拟并行计算中的一个主要问题。提出了一种并行求解线性方程组的新方法,称为DSST方法。DSST方法保留了SST方法的所有优点,比SST方法处理器利用率要高,更适合在中、大规模并行计算机上运算,且能获得更高的并行加速比。将SST方法和DSST方法用于SSOR迭代中,并在曙光1000分布式并行计算机上实现了程序化,对一个带状线性方程组的求解获得了令人满意的结果。表2参9(陈志宏摘)

Abstract:Developing an efficient algorithm for solving a large linear system in parallel computing environment is the major problem associated with the application of parallel processing to the reservoir simulation. This paper presents a new algorithm called Double Sequential Staging of Tasks (DSST) to speed up the solution of a large linear system. The technique of DSST not only preserves the advantages of SST, but also can be performed more effectively on middle and large scale parallel computers and achieves a higher parallel speedup than SST. Numerical results were obtained from computer experiments performed with the solution of a banded linear system by applying SST and DSST to SSOR iteration on Dawning 1000 supercomputer (a distributed memory MIMD architecture). The parallel speedup is satisfactory.
