| Abstract: | Gu Yan-wu criticized Wang Yang-ming’s philosophy and promoted the study of Confucian classics.He played an important role in reversing the bad style of study in Late Ming Dynasty.Wang Yang-ming’s doctrine had influenced the late Ming for nearly a century.Although Gu Yan-wu did his best to correct the adverse effects caused by Wang Yang-Ming’s doctrine,he could not avoid the influence of Wang Yang-ming’s doctrine on his ideas. |
