Abstract:The great increase of wind power capacity largely impacts the power system frequency regulation.The wind energy utilization coefficient is adjusted by establishing a frequency-power control model in double-fed induction generator(DFIG),which makes wind turbine generator respond to system frequency variation rapidly and participate in system frequency regulation.Taking the IEEE-39 system for example,the system frequency decreases with the generator cutting.The results show that the wind turbine generator can regulate the system frequency in concert with other synchronous generators,and make a certain contribution to system frequency.
