| 摘 要： | 应用巢式聚合酶链反应(PCR)检测患者脑脊液(CSF)中单纯疱疹病毒1型(HSV-1)DNA。23例经鞘内HSV-1特异性IgG抗体检测阳性的“HSV-1型性脑炎(HSE)”中19例PCR阳性,4例阴性患者病程均超过1个月。22例IgG阴性的“散发性脑炎”中7例PCR阳性,此7例皆于发病1周内检查CSF,其中2例取材于发病当日。1周后复查7例患者,CSF PCR仍为阳性,IgG皆阴性,提示PCR适用于HSE的早期诊断。

| Abstract: | A polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay with two nested primer pairs was developed for the amplification of herpes simplex virus (HSV-1) DNA in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples from 23 consecutive patients with herpes simplex encephalitis (HSE) verified by the finding of intrathecal production of IgG antibody to the virus, 19 patients detected HSV DNA by PCR. CSF samples from 7 patients taken in the first week of onset were positive by PCR, while among 22 patients with sporadic encephalitis which were negative by IgG, 7 detected HSV DNA by PCR. It is suggested that PCR is a rapid method to diagnose herpes simplex encephalitis. |
