| Abstract: | In this paper, the principle of the fiber grating based distributed feedback (DFB) structure is discussed. It is shown by experiments that similar and better spectral characteristics of the fiber DFB can be obtained by two different approaches. A comparison of these two approaches is also made from the practical viewpoints. |
