一种基于外部轮廓的数字验证码识别方法

提出了一种基于数字验证码外部轮廓结构特征的简单、快速数字识别方法。首先对验证码图像进行二值化处理,并将二值化图像分割成相应若干单个数字图像。然后对分隔出来的单个数字图像外部轮廓的上、下、左、右4个方向进行特征计算,最后依据所计算得到的外部轮廓方向是否具有突变、左斜、右斜、圆弧等特征来对它们进行识别。实验结果表明该方法具有比神经网络、模板匹配等方法简单、快速、鲁棒的性能。

A digit validation image recognition algorithm based on exterior contour

This paper proposes a simple and rapid number recognition algorithm based on exterior contour structure characteristics of a digit validation image.First,change the validation image into a binary image,segment the binary image into some single number im-ages.Then compute the characteristics of the up,down,left and right direction of exterior contour of the single image.Finally,recog-nize the single number according to whether each direction has skip,left-slant,right-slant or arc feature computed already.The ex-periment result makes clear that this algorithm is simpler,faster and robuster than NN,templet matching algorithm etc.
