Abstract: | Conclusion The instrument permits continuous measurement of the carbon potential of the atmosphere resulting from incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons in a fluidized bed. The accuracy of the measurements is ±0.02% C and the limits of measurement are 0.1–1.0% C. The operating range of the instrument is from 830 to 1000°C. It can be used as a primary instrument for automatic control of the carbon potential by changing the fuel-air ratio.Urals Polytechnical Institute.
