浅谈大班英语口语教学中存在的问题及对策

“扩招”后,外语专业教学面临着班级容量加大的现实。如何充分利用有限的资源取得理想的学习效果是一个亟待解决的问题。而大班英语口语教学是我国英语教学的一大特点。本文提出将小组合作方法与其他教学方法相结合,充分调动学生的积极性与学习兴趣,使教学质量不因大班的存在而下降。

Problems existing in teaching of spoken English and measures

After the increased enrollment of college students,the specialized teaching of foreign languages has to face the reality of enlarged class.The crucial problem is how to make full use of the limited teaching resources to teach qualified English majors and the teaching of spoken English of the large-scale class is a major characteristic of the English teaching in our country.This essay points out that the rational combination of the group cooperation and other feasible teaching methods will in the largest extent stimulate students'enthusiasm and study interests to make the teaching quality not to drop because of existence of the large-scale class.
