| Abstract: | The functions of vitamin D2, such as regulating metabolism of calcium and phosphor, inhibition of proliferation of cancer cells, regulating the blood pressure and the immune system, and so on, were introduced briefly. It was widely applied in the fields of medicine, food and feed. The situations of research and industrialization of vitamin D2 in China were introduced emphatically, and the photochemical production of vitamin D2 was described in detail. Finally, the potential market prospect was viewed. |
