基于FPGA的通用实验平台的设计与实现

摘    要:针对高校硬件课程实验教学的特点和存在的问题,提出了一种基于FPGA的三层构架的通用实验平台。设计了嵌入式实验控制器和提供通用端口的实验模块,开发了具有自适应功能的PC机实验软件。实验平台在ALTERADE2—70教学开发板上实现并完成了测试,测试结果表明,该平台支持开放性和创新型实验,可应用于数字逻辑电路设计、计算机组成原理和计算机系统结构等硬件课程的实验教学,实现了多门硬件课程对实验平台的共享。

Abstract:According to the characteristics and existing problems of hardware experimental teaching in several universities, a universal experimental platform, which is based on FPGA and three layers architecture, has been put forward. The embedded experiment controller and a kind of experiments module providing universal ports have been designed, then, developed experimental software with adaptive functions of the PC. The Experimental platform has been designed and tested on ALTERA DE2 -70 teaching development board. The test results show that, this platform supports open and innovative experiments, and can be applied to the experimental teaching of several hardware courses, such as Design of Digital logic Circuit, Principles of Computer Composition, Computer System Architecture and so on, also, realized the share of this experimental platform to several hardware courses.
