电磁连铸复合结晶器内钢液流场的数值模拟

摘    要:采用数值模拟方法分析了电磁连铸复合式结晶器内的流场。对静磁场磁感应强度不同时组合磁场下的流场进行了比较,在此基础上,分析了电磁连铸复合式结晶器的工作原理。分析结果表明:电磁连铸复合式结晶器不仅具有电磁制动和软接触两种功能,而且能够控制弯月面区域的速率,使其保持在合适的范围内,从而有效地防止了电磁制动结晶器在需要较大制动强度时对弯月面制动过死及软接触结晶器弯月面波动剧易引起卷渣的弊端。

Abstract:The flow field in a new mold with hybrid magnetic fields with combination of alternative and static electromagnetic fields for continuous casting was simulated. The comparison of the results with different static magnetic flux density was conducted. The principle of the new mold was analyzed. The results show that the new technique not only has the advantages of both soft contact EMC (electromagnetic continuous casting) and EMBR (electromagnetic braking) but also overcomes some shortcomings of the two techniques in controlling the meniscus.
