变压器型故障限流器限流效果研究

摘    要:介绍了变压器型故障限流器的基本原理,该限流器由电容器及二次侧带放电间隙的并联变压器组成。通过分析该故障限流器在抑制短路电流过程中的稳态特性,定量地描述了它的限流效果。研究该故障限流器在限流过程中的工作条件,利用PSCAD软件建立仿真模型,对该故障限流器在500kV超高压输电系统中的应用进行仿真。为了验该故障限流器的限流效果,给出了实用可行的短路实验电路,分别就未装设和模拟限流器情况进行了短路实验。结果显示,该故障限流器具有较好的限流效果,能够作为一种有效的保护设备限制电力系统的短路电流。

Research of Current-Limiting Effect of Transformer-Based Fault Current Limiters

Abstract:This paper introduces the basic principle of transformer fault current limiter that is composed of a capacitor in parallel with primal7 side of a trausformer, whose second side is connected to a discharge gap. The current limiting effect is described quantitatively by analyzing the steady-state characteristics while the fault current limiter is limiling short-citer, it current. The application of the fauh current limiter in a 500 kV power system is simulated with PSCAD software which can ereate the equivalent simulation model. To verify the current-limiting effect of the fauh current limiter, a practical short-circuit test eireuit is given. The short-circuit test is programmed rcspeclively based on the circuit with and without the fault current limiter. Meanwhile, by simulating shurt-eircuit of a test circuit with PSCAD software, the waveforms of the short-circuit current will be accessed. The experimental results and simulalion results show that the transtormer-based fauh current limiter has a good effect on limiting short-circuits current and can be used as an effective protector fur restraining the short-circuit current in power systems.
