摘    要:在传统图像分割算法的基础上,提出_『基于改进边缘检测的颈动脉CT图像分割方法.首先利用Canny边缘检测算子对CT图像进行边缘检测,然后利用数学形态学方法进行后续处理,并提取各种目标的轮廓.实验结果表明,该方法能有效实现目标与背景的分离,为正确诊断提供了指导信息,大大降低了工作量.

Abstract:Based on traditional image segmentation algorithm, this paper proposes an improved image segmentation algorithm for carotid CT images. Firstly, canny edge detection operator is used to detect the edge of CT images, and morphology operators are used as a postproeessor in order to close the contour. Then boundary extraction is applied also via image morphology. In the end, the final contour is superimposed on the original image. The experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently segment the object regions in CT images. These automatically segmented regions may alleviate the need for a practitioner time consuming manual segmentation of wanted regions.
