摘    要:高性能计算机技术是现代科学技术研究、工程技术开发和大规模数据处理的基础。利用高性能计算机可以解决一些仅仅依靠理论及实验方法无法解决的问题。分析处理靠传统技术无法应付的海量数据。其中,并行计算技术是实现高性能计算的重要技术途径。本文主要讨论在SGIOrigin2000上使用MPI方法进行并行计算,并以Jacobi迭代程序为例,说明如何半将串行程序转换成并行程序。

Abstract:High performance computer technology is the base of the modern scientific and technological researches, engineering development and large-scale data processing. By using high performance computers, we can solve problems that could not be solved by conventional theoretical and experimental methods ,and can also treat enormous data that can not be processed by traditional technology. The parallel computing is an important approach to realize high performance computation. This paper mainly discusses how to make a parallel computation by MPI technique on SGI Origin 2000. With an example, we also introduce how to convert a serial Jaobi's iterative program into a parallel one.
