Parameters of infrasonic waves generated by the Chelyabinsk meteoroid on February 15, 2013

Abstract:Data from infrasound stations are used to determine the basic parameters of infrasonic waves generated during the passage and airburst of the Chelyabinsk space body: time lag, duration, spectral structure, dispersion dependence, and celerity. A simulation is performed for the parameters of the infrasonic waves. A comparison between the simulation and observation results shows a good agreement.
