| Abstract: | Picone type formula for half‐linear impulsive differential equations with discontinuous solutions having fixed moments of impulse actions is derived. Employing the formula, Leighton and Sturm–Picone type comparison theorems as well as several oscillation criteria for impulsive differential equations are obtained.
