| Abstract: | This paper describes the characteristics of planetary gearing briefly,presents the optimizing design of its 2-step drive. The mathematicalmodel, computer program and some results of optimization are presentedtoo. By optimizing, the design quality is improved, the weight isdecreased, and the cost is reduced. |
