歧隐翅虫亚族(鞘翅目,隐翅虫科)分类特征分析及单系性质疑

CHALLENGING THE MONOPHYLY OF THE SUBTRIBE ANISOLININA (COLEOPTERA,STAPHYLINIDAE) BASED ON TAXONOMIC CHANGES AND MORPHOLOGY

Whether a taxon is a monophyletic one decides its acceptability in sense of modern systematics and taxonomy. Morphological analysis and zoogeographical patterns can offer valuable cues to this kind of problems. The subtribe Anisolinina Hayashi, 1993, though a newly-erected taxon of the tribe Staphylinini (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Staphylininae), changed greatly in its taxonomic definition and within-group classification recently. This study is conducted to compare some important characters used to define the taxon. They are superior and inferior marginal lines of pronotal hypomeron, maxillary and labial palpi and some other morphorlogical characters. The taxonomic history of the genera included and their distributions are also compared in the paper. It seems clear that all the analyses up-to-now are not enough to support the Anisolinina as a monophyletic taxon.
