| Abstract: | By analyzing the 19th century French architectural theorist Viollet-le-Duc＇s writing style, the author attempts to explain the approach which can be called ＂Object-Poetics＂ that hidden behind the appearance of Positivism,and further emphasizes the directive function of architectural theory for architectural practicing. |
