摘    要:本实验用精制大肠杆菌内毒素(ET)分别复制大鼠、家兔ET性发热模型,观察大鼠与家兔不同脑区组织(脑皮质、脑干、丘脑下部)cAMP含量的变化。结果发现:大鼠,家兔ET性发热时,丘脑下部cAMP含量明显增加,且与体温变化呈正相关关系;而脑皮质、脑干cAMP含量未见明显变化。作者推论:大鼠、家兔ET性发热都是由于丘脑下部cAMP含量增加所致,丘脑下部cAMP含量变化是体温波动的原因之一。cAMP可能是一重要的中枢性发热介质。

Abstract:Rabbits and rats were used to induce fever by injection of refined E. Coli endo-toxin. Levels of cyclic adenosine phosphate (cAMP) in the cortex, brainstem and hypothalamus were assayed in these animals. Comparisons were made between rabbits and rats, as well as the cAMP levels among different cerebral areas.The results showed that during the endotoxin fever, levels of cAMP in the hypothalamus, but not the cortex and brainstem, significantly increased and were positively corelated to the body temperature changes in both rats and rabbits. The author considered that the endotoxin fever in rats and rabbits is due to an increase of cAMP in the hypothalamus, and this is responsible for the changes in body temperature. cAMP might be an important central transmitter for fever.
