Abstract:The technique of air cushion surge chamber and the new type of arrangement scheme of diversion pipe route are used in the optimization design of Xiaotiandu hydropower station which is located in the Kangding county of Garze Tibetan autonomous prefecture of Sichuan province. The merits of advanced technique, safety dependable, less capital cost and short constraction period are well on the way to solve the two difficult problems of geolagical and environmental influences.
