摘    要:对大芯径多模光纤端面耦合技术进行了研究,实验测量了光纤端面间的横向偏离、轴向偏离及光纤轴夹角对耦合效率的影响,其中光纤端面间的横向偏离对耦合效率影响较大,这些实验结果对大芯径多模光纤端面间的连接或熔接以及提高耦合效率具有一定意义。

Abstract:The end coupling technology for large core multimode optical fibers is studied. The effect of transverse offset, longitudinal discrepancy, and axial disalignment between two fiber ends on the coupling efficiency is experimently measured, of which the transverse offset shows more significant effect to the coupling efficency. The results are of significance for the connection or splicing of large core multimode fibers and increasing the coupling efficiency.
