Application of HAZOP analysis in high-performance fiber project design

The dominant production process of high-performance fiber,including carbon fiber,aromatic polyamide fiber,was introduced.ultrahigh-molecular mass polyethylene fiber.The safety production characteristics of high-performance fiber were described.The hazard and operability analysis(HAZOP) was briefly described.HAZOP analysis was used to analyze the sulfuric acid storage and mixing process in para-aramid fiber project design.It was pointed out that HAZOP analysis had great significance for checking high-performance fiber project design,minimizing design errors,improving design accuracy and equipment operation stability.
