| Abstract: | LCD manufacturers have been fairly slow to introduce LED-backlit LCD panels into the high-performance and high-reliability markets, especially for larger display formats. However, there are solutions available today for these larger panels with edge-lit or direct-view LCD-backlight retrofits. This article will examine several LED backlighting options currently commercially available to today's engineers. |
