摘    要:为改善交叉口安全状况,提高整个交叉口的交通安全水平,考虑到交叉口因信号控制不当造成的事故原因,重点对两难区的驾驶行为进行了分析.为克服以往研究中车辆以匀速状态通过交叉口的不合理性,实时保障车辆在信号控制交叉口不发生碰撞事故,尤其是两难区的存在导致的追尾、侧面碰撞事故,提出了考虑驾驶行为的交叉口交通信号主动控制策略并对控制策略的有效性进行了仿真验证.仿真结果表明,交叉口交通信号主动控制策略有效地提高了交叉口车辆的安全性,为道路交叉口防撞提供了新方法.

Abstract:Improper signal timing is a main cause of traffic accidents at road intersections. This paper studies signal control strategies regarding traffic safety. To avoid the unreasonable assumption of average traveling speed for vehicles, the paper first analyzes the driving behavior in dilemma zone at intersections. Proactive signal con- trol based on different driving behavior is proposed. Simulation results show that the strategy of proactive control can effectively improve intersection safety at the signalized intersections. It provides a new approach to collision avoidance at road intersections.
